I live in a farm setting surrounded by my children and grandchildren in the Piedmont section of North Carolina located about half way between the Atlantic Ocean and the Great Smoky Mountains.  I am a senior citizen and  have now been retired for about 13 years and I have been building  bird houses and feeders for over 40 years for family and friends but only in the last 6-8 years for sale.  Many of my customers and friends  have made recommendations over the years that have been incorporated into the designs I make.
